Estimate the price of your trips

Taxi Excellence charges for a ride in three ways. In Gigean and around the Thau lagoon, short trips are charged on the meter: an €8 pick-up charge, then €2.22 per km by day and €3 at night. For transfers to stations and the airport, as for long-distance trips, a firm fixed fare is agreed before departure. Finally, the table below gives reference prices from Montpellier Saint-Roch station, with a day rate and a night rate for each destination.

The day rate applies from 7am to 7pm; the night rate covers 7pm to 7am, every day of the week. The simulator uses the same two periods: it works out an estimate from the distance, without allowing for traffic, waiting time or the actual route.

For a departure from Gigean, Sète, Frontignan, Mèze or another address, ask for a quote giving the starting point, destination, date, time and number of passengers. The amount confirmed before departure is the amount you pay, whatever the traffic. Mention bulky luggage and groups of up to seven: they call for the Mercedes van.
